    Paris was founded by the Romans 250 years before Christ. The city is beautifully located next to the river Seine, and has 2.2 million inhabitants in the inner city. It is divided into 20 districts (districts). District One is in the middle of the city. After that, the other districts in numerical order come further and further out of the core.
    Paris is densely populated and restaurants and shops are found on almost every street. The most densely populated area is the 15th district of approximately 225,000 inhabitants. The first district has about 17000 inhabitants. There are several parks and a botanical garden and several open fields such as the Champs de March at the Eiffel Tower. Churches and cathedrals are found everywhere in the city. The Notre-Dame Cathedral and the nearby church of Sainte-Chapelle are built in beautiful Gothic style. 30 million tourists visit Paris every year. You can easily get around Paris by public transport, which consists of a dense network of bus lines and the metro Le Métro. Tram and taxi are other options.
    It is excellent to walk through the city which has long pedestrian streets adapted for those who want to get on foot. 37 bridges cross the river.
    A visit to Paris leaves no one untouched. Whether you are looking for the culinary delights of French cuisine, or indulge in exclusive clothing brands, you will be satisfied. Avoid the queues at the Eiffel Tower and get to the Montparnasse tower in the Montparnasse district of the 15th arrondissement. A 59-storey skyscraper with a viewpoint at the top with panoramic views of the whole of Paris.

    From Paris airport you can easily take the train to the city center.
    It is the cheapest option and it goes relatively quickly.

    Eiffel Tower
    The tower is one of the world's most famous buildings. The tower has been in existence since 1889.
    Arc de Triomphe
    Along the Champs-Élysées lies the Arc de Triomphe. There, 12 wide avenues meet which form a circle around the Arc de Triomphe. At the top is a viewpoint.
    Sacre Coeur
    On the hill of Montmartre lies the Basilica of Sacré-Coeur. An absolutely incredible building with a breathtaking view of the city.
    Notre Dame
    The cathedral is over 800 years old. It was built in the middle of the 12th century, but was not completed until 1345.
    Louvre
    Here are art treasures from all over the world. Most famous is probably the Louvre because this is where they keep the painting with Mona Lisa.
    Moulin Rouge
    We all know the name Moulin Rouge in Paris. The enchanting dance venue with the girls who danced can-can in the late 1800s.
    Montparnasse tower
    Montparnasse Tower offers a fantastic view of Paris city and the Eiffel Tower.
